Dog Training

There are numerous books and leaflets on how to train dogs to hunt for truffles and we are happy to put you in contact with the experts if you wish to train your own dog. 

The process is very simple and if your dog is eager to please (as most are) then we have found that a dog can be easily trained to find truffles in less than a week and with experience be very proficient in a few months. We encourage growers to train their own dogs and have the flexibility to harvest when conditions suit them and not rely on harvest contractors who may or may not do the job correctly. Send us an email atinfo@trufflesaustralis.com.au for further information.
