Nursery Facilities

The tree nursery is operated under strict quarantine and hygiene conditions to ensure a high standard of quality control. We are the only nursery in Australia to develop a standard operating procedure for the inoculation process.
We did this in conjunction with Tasmanian Department of Agriculture, AQIS, Serve-Ag research and Quality assurance Tasmania as well as a French nursery.
Nursery Facility The inoculation process is based on a system developed by the French and modified to suit our strict hygiene, quality and quarantine requirements.

The trees are grown for a period of around twelve months before being sold to ensure a high level of mychorrization has been achieved. This lengthy procedure is in place to make sure that once the trees leave our doors we know they have every chance of producing truffles.
Our nursery is a member of the Nursery Industry Accreditation Scheme, Australia (NIASA) and we operate within the guidelines to ensure the quality of our trees.
